This is a good app, it just has quite a few flaws. For instance, in the katakana examples, convenience store is spelled "connivence store." Also, there are some situations where the accuracy of the examples goes awry. One example has the Japanese text reading "ban," but the English word is reportedly "bas," which is not a word. Also, "home"="platform", and the word "penguin" appears twice under the words "pen" and "penguin."
Besides lacking some accuracy, this app also lacks the feature to study a small group of kana at a time, which would be extremely helpful.
In spite of its flaws, this app is quite good and helpful for one attempting to learn the kana.
